Here is a radical idea: what if your travel planner actually knew who you were?
We are small. Deliberately, unapologetically small. When you work with Peregrina, you are not getting shuffled between departments or passed to whatever "travel consultant" happens to be available that day. You are working with the same person every single time. Across multiple trips, we will remember that you hate early morning flights and that you are allergic to shellfish.
This is not a corporate travel company. It is not meant to be. When you are trying to be everything to everyone, you end up being nothing to anyone. We would rather be the best travel planner for a few discerning clients than a mediocre one for the masses.
Let us address the elephant in the suite: sometimes, despite everyone's best efforts, things go sideways. The villa you booked has plumbing issues. The restaurant lost your reservation. Your room has a view of a car park instead of the Amalfi Coast.
Here is where most travel planners send you a sympathetic email and wish you luck. Not us.
When something goes wrong, we are on the phone. We are pulling strings. We are calling in favours with hotel managers, restaurant owners, and everyone else in our little black book. We are not just your travel planner. We are your advocate, your fixer, and occasionally your very polite but extremely persistent pain in the neck to suppliers who have not delivered.
In an age where everyone is racing to automate everything, we have decided to go the other direction. We do not use AI to blast suppliers with template emails. We do not have chatbots. We do not believe you can automate the kind of relationships that get you a table at that restaurant or an upgrade at that hotel.
When we contact a hotel on your behalf, it is an actual email, written by an actual human, to another actual human we have probably met in person. When we are negotiating rates or securing access, it is through relationships we have spent years building — not through some automated system that treats suppliers like vending machines.
Does this take more time? Absolutely. Is it worth it? Ask our clients who somehow always seem to get that corner suite, that private tour, or that table everyone else was told was fully booked.
An uncomfortable truth about the industry: many luxury travel providers invoice you based on what they think you will pay, not what things actually cost. They might add 15%, 20%, sometimes even 25% to the actual rate and pocket the difference. And you would never know.
We do not do that.
We use dynamic pricing, which means we review all bookings on the day we invoice. If rates have dropped since we made the reservation, you get that saving. If we can negotiate a better deal, we do. And we pass it on to you. Because we would rather build a long-term relationship based on trust than make a quick profit on hidden markups.
We are not sitting in an office browsing hotel websites and reading reviews. We have been to these places. We have stayed in these rooms, eaten in these restaurants, and met these guides. We know which boutique hotel in Rome has the best breakfast spread and which "luxury" property has good marketing but average delivery.
When we recommend something, it is not because a supplier paid for a familiarisation trip or because we get a good commission. It is because we have experienced it ourselves and genuinely think you will love it. And when we advise against something, it is usually because we have already made that mistake so you do not have to.
The best luxury travel planner brings first-hand knowledge, not just second-hand research. They have walked the walk — often literally.
If you want someone who will remember your preferences, fight for your interests, maintain real relationships with suppliers, price things honestly, and bring genuine expertise to your planning — let us talk.
Tell us what you have in mind. A destination, a date, a feeling. We will take it from there.
