Who We Are

A boutique, London-based travel design company. We believe travel is fundamentally human — and that the people planning it should be too.

What We Do

We design, book, and manage every element of a trip. We research everything from scratch, focusing on boutique and family-owned businesses over mass-market luxury.

Where We Work

England is our home base, but our reach is worldwide — from North America, Europe and the UK to the world beyond. We cover all seven continents.

How We Work

High end.
High touch.
High expectations.

Peregrina works with a deliberately small client roster. Every brief is taken on personally — researched, planned, and managed by someone with direct knowledge of the places you are going to, not passed between departments or processed by a system that has never been there.

We book properties we have stayed in or vetted through people we trust. We engage guides who know their region with genuine depth, arrange transfers that arrive early, and secure access that cannot be organised on the day by someone who just arrived.

We do a lot of this work the old-fashioned way on purpose.

Our Provenance →
01
The Conversation.

We begin with a thorough consultation to understand your destination, travel dates, and priorities. No itinerary is proposed until we have a complete picture of what you are looking for.

02
The Proposal.

We research, plan, and price your itinerary in full, drawing on our network of specialist contacts across Europe. You receive a single, detailed proposal with a quoted price range covering every element of the journey.

03
The Journey.

Peregrina remains at your disposal from the moment your itinerary is confirmed through to your return. Should anything require attention while you are travelling, we are reachable and we respond.

What We Do

These are the five trips we design.

We did something rather un-British and published our pricing. The actual numbers — all of them — are on the next page.

1
Weekend Escape

Short-haul European and UK getaways, fully arranged. A spa weekend in the Cotswolds, a driving route through Tuscany, a helicopter transfer to a Scottish estate. Two to four nights.

2
European Exploration

One country or several. A first visit to Italy, a 5★ road trip through the Basque Country, or a more exploratory journey across multiple regions with specialist and VIP guides throughout.

3
Milestone Journey

Honeymoons, landmark birthdays, significant anniversaries, and multigenerational family travel.

4
Extended and Multi-Destination

Multi-week itineraries across several countries, or complex trips for larger groups with different ages, interests, and priorities.

5
Ultra-Private and Expedition

Antarctica by private air. Polo in Mongolia. Sporting in Central Asia. These are the itineraries that require deep specialist knowledge and contacts that are not available to the general public.

The Name
Peregrina.

Peregrina is the Latin word for female traveller — which we felt suited a female-founded company. It also called to mind the Peregrine Falcon — the fastest animal on earth — whose female is the larger, stronger, more capable bird. And finally, the shape of our logo comes from the legendary Peregrina Pearl, passed among queens for five centuries. Three very different meanings. Only one name: Peregrina.

Our Story →
Provenance

The story behind
Peregrina.

Peregrina was founded in 2025 with a specific client in mind: people who had given up on travel agencies entirely and were planning their own trips because no company had yet given them a reason not to.

They had used a big agency, received something generic, felt vaguely ripped off, and either started planning travel themselves or stopped taking the kind of trips they really wanted. The client at the end of the pipeline was paying for the overhead of three companies as much as the travel itself, and the level of detail they required was something larger agencies simply could not provide.

Peregrina decided that was unacceptable, and has deliberately taken the opposite approach. We believe in small businesses, boutique hotels with personality, family-owned operations, and women-led companies — and that is exactly who we work with. Travel is fundamentally human, and we think the people behind it should be too.

Every client works with one person from the first enquiry to the flight home. The briefs that come to Peregrina range from weekend escapes to multigenerational family trips, from Americans reconnecting with their European heritage to family offices whose principals want to see more of the world.

We do a lot of the work the old-fashioned way, on purpose. We work through people, not portals — directly with owners, managers, hoteliers, guides, and operators. It is a practical choice that gives our clients better information, better coordination, and an experience that is even better on the ground than it was on the itinerary.

The Founder

Caitlin Grace

Founder & Principal Consultant

Caitlin is originally from the edge of California's wine country, which may explain both her European pull and her firm views on what belongs in the glass. She has spent the past decade living between Rome and England, and is now based in Cambridge.

Being American by background and European by lived experience means she understands both sides unusually well: what American clients are actually looking for in their holidays, and how to navigate the European landscape from the inside.

Before Peregrina, Caitlin spent years working closely with private families, then moved into high-end travel with high-net-worth clients, eventually as chief of operations. She takes the view that no brief is too specific and no request too obscure — whether it is measuring a field in paces for a helicopter to land or finding the best pub in a village for clients who want authenticity.

She enjoys all things equestrian and will readily admit she is far more comfortable in a western saddle than an English one (but yes, that is Caitlin on the homepage). Currently based in Cambridge, she is known to regularly pull on her wellies and stomp through fields in search of a good pub lunch and a bit of sun.
